June 27th is the starting of its all. With a mixed feeling, all the soon to be GEMS's started flooding the hotel lobby. It's Harvard Suasana hotel to be exact. Everybody leaves their unsuccessful, uncertain days behind.

Anonymous faces looking at each other. Some with a very happy, smiley expressions and some with a sour, hesitating look. GEMS song filled the air as more and more "leaders tomorrow" entering the hall.

Waving goodbye to the family, all minds start wandering around. What to do, what to expect, what's the future got to offer. Some expect a very boring and tiring two and a half months and some expect a very colorful and wonderful ride.

Whatever the expectations, we're there, whether we like it or not, we are part of the GEMS family because we are there on June 27th, we're the one who sing the GEMS song on the night of June 27th, we're the one who recite the oath on the opening day ceremony the next day.

All and all, that's our June 27th. The beginning of "something", part of our journey to be "somebody". The day that will never be erased from our virtual memory. -THE DAY-
